So it seems to be working. After doing that, it worked. I stills says that audio compression format not suported, however the DSP codec shows in my audio compression formats list. This URL will solve your problem. No need to reboot, just close regedit 6. Anyone who has a answer can mail me. I know what i need but i dont know where to get it.

In each case system32 and Goldwavewhen it installed, it placed the files in a new Lame folder in each of those directories. For recent versions of GoldWave, the last step may not be necessary since it will look for the file in the default Lame folder.

I can hear the soounds but cannot send a voice message. Then, install the TrueSpeech Player. When I installed Lame, it asked me where I wanted to save the files.

Users browsing this forum: I followed your steps Usually you need to perform 3 steps: I tried all these solutions but noting worked for me, finally i found that itwas a connection dsp group truespeech 22 codec problem.

Ive posted on other sites but i guess no one wants to help me. Stripping out the old codec files from WinXP and using them in Vista seems to work. Click ‘Continue Anyway’ if you get a warning box. I went to my audio settings as the earlier poster suggested and looked at my audio codecs.

I did it in 5 minutes. In Control Panel, go to Add Hardware.

But still groupp cant see it in audio codecs list and the error is not solved yet. Thanks Faizi, You saved me man I have also checked the system by using yahoo audio set up wizard. No codec error by GoldWave Inc. Do you have that installed?

The codec ckdec sitting in my System32 folder but the installation is not occuring since the product is not tested by Microsoft. See this link for details. So it seems to be working.
